Berg & Blume Jewellery ApS operates the Berg & Blume Jewellery webshop at www.berg-blume.dk (the "Site").

This Privacy Policy describes how www.berg-blume.com (the “Site” or “we”) collects, use, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

In order to process the transaction and delivery, we must know your name, your address, your e-mail, your telephone number and the necessary delivery requests, which will be given to GLS or PostNord to ensure correct delivery of your product.

We register and pass on the personal information that is necessary to be able to deliver the item to you. This data is stored together with information about which products you have purchased for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates (see the Accounting Act § 10). The information will then be deleted. The purpose is solely to deliver your products. We also need the information in case of return and complaint.

The personal information is registered with Berg & Blume Jewelery ApS and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

In addition, we collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. Companies process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.

As a customer, you have the opportunity to gain insight into our registration of data about you, and you can object to registration in accordance with the rules of the law on processing personal registration. If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we have a duty to delete your personal data if you request it. It can e.g. be if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we were to use it. Information is only provided to third parties for payment confirmation, technical issues, delivery or marketing.

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
  • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.
